Dear Prospective Family,
St. Anthony Grade School provides for your child’s wellness, safety, and happiness while he or she receives a wonderful education. The way in which St. Anthony meets the individual needs of your child is unlike any other! Upon entering the doors of St. Anthony, your child encounters a world of learning that emphasizes development in the Catholic faith, academic excellence, and extra-curricular activities.
Faith is not only taught at St. Anthony, it is caught! That’s right. Your child’s faith spreads and expands throughout the total experience of each and every day, from religion class to participation in school Masses. Students are exposed to several services projects throughout the year such as collecting baby items for the Right to Life Center, a school wide food collection for Catholic Charities, and toys for FISH at Christmas.
At St. Anthony, academic excellence is more than just a good catch phrase in our marketing material – we have an effective, competent, and experienced team of staff members and administrators to implement our curriculum. We are serious in guaranteeing you superior academic instruction. St. Anthony offers a variety of learning strategies to meet the needs of your student along with the technology to support it. IOWA Assessment results are consistently above the norm. Our overall goal is "service to the Lord by stretching our intellect, confirming our values, and living our faith."
St. Anthony Grade School offers an education that builds a child’s leadership ability, love of learning, social interaction, and sense of service. The Student Council provides many of these opportunities. Of course, your child’s worldview is enhanced and expanded by participation in many activities and events as well.
Finally, at St. Anthony we strive to create the kind of atmosphere that spurs your child to not only like school, but to love it. Fun-filled extra-curricular activities are more than just an afterthought. They are part of your child’s daily routine. In addition, each quarter we have a Positive Behavior Celebration to recognize the students who model exemplary behaviors.
This dynamic community presents your child with these and many other opportunities for growth. Feel free to contact me or any of our faculty if you have any questions, would like to schedule a tour or to shadow a student, or would like to meet in person. Registration is ongoing for the next school year!
Sincerely,
Cody Rincker
